Declaration of a State of Emergency April 16, 2023

WHEREAS, a disaster, a Blizzard and heavy snow Emergency commencing on April 16 2023, has struck the Town of Iron River in Bayfield County, Wisconsin; and

WHEREAS, because of such emergency conditions, the Town of Iron River is unable to meet with promptness; and

THEREFORE, pursuant to sections 323.11 and 323.14 (4) {b) of the Wisconsin Statutes it is necessary and expedient for the health, safety, welfare and good order to proclaim that emergency conditions exist.
