Some dangerous items have been found under melted snow in two locations in Iron River, these items were syringes/needles. If anyone should find such items or anything else deemed dangerous, please contact our police department (715-373-6120) or the town office (715-373-5467) or Town Supervisor (715-969-8545) and notify them of the location and item. Please do not touch the item and advise your children not to touch the item if they find something such as these. We will have a police officer respond, pick up and dispose of the item in question.
