The Iron River ice rink will open this winter. A new larger water line is being installed now after a materials delivery delay. Rasmussen Plumbing has volunteered their time to install the line and the Town of Iron River is paying for the materials for the line and a spigot at the rink. Thank You to the Iron River Volunteer Fire Department for the initial fill of the rink with 7,500 gallons of water. Once the water line is completed at the rink, the process of creating an ice skating surface will continue. When the rink is ready, residents may check back here for opening information.
