All events require a refundable $100 deposit to be paid at time of booking.
FREE events must be booked and may be subject to cancellation fees per Rule and Regulations.

- This includes Blood Bank, Health Screenings, Voter Registration and government meeting for Iron River and Bayfield County. 501(c)(3) organizations are FREE once per calendar year.
Senior Citizen Activities and non-commercial events for seniors.....................FREE
Large Room:
Weekdays (Monday - Thursday) $75.00 per 5 hour block: 8:00 - 1:00; 1:00 - 6:00; 6:00 - 2:00 am
Weekend (Fri, Sat, & Sun): $85.00 per 5 hour block as above. Includes Small Room use.
- This includes High School Reunions, family Reunions, Adult Birthday Party, Anniversary Party, Funeral Reception, Open House, Wedding and/or Reception, Home, Trade or Craft Shows and ALL commercial activities that charge a fee for their service/event/classes.
Small Room Events
- Maximum capacity comfortably is 15 – 20 with tables & chairs
- $10 per hour Monday - Thursday
- Included with Large Room on Fri, Sat & Sun.
Kitchen Fee (use of stove, plates, utensils) $50.00
Bar Service is through the Iron River Area Foundation and their charges are $50 set-up plus bartenders and beverages chosen.

RULES AND REGULATIONS
- The booking and payment of the security deposit signifies that you have read these rules and agree to abide by them and will instruct your guests to also abide by them.
- The Iron River Community Center is available for rent 7 days a week except when the calendar has been blocked for repair and/or maintenance. ALL BOOKINGS WILL BE DONE ON-LINE AT townofironriver.com.
- You must be at least 21 years old to rent the facility. Youth activities MUST have chaperones at least 25 years of age and there is to be 1 chaperone per 10 youths.
- You may only use those areas that you have rented. Restrooms are for both the large room and the small meeting room. Small room may use the bathroom located in town office area.
- All uses of the facility must conform to the Americans with Disability Act (ADA) and all fire regulations regarding people capacity and exits. This means you cannot block EXIT paths/doors and mobility around the space must allow for personal mobility devices. The Community Center facility is ADA compliant.
- Refundable security deposit of $100.00 is due upon booking your event.
- The security deposit will be refunded following the inspection of the facility. Damages to the premises, equipment or properties of the Iron River Community Center, inside or outside, caused by renters or their guest, either intentionally, through negligence or by accident will be paid for by the renter. The expenses will be deducted from the security deposit and if the amount is more than the deposit, the renter will be billed.
- The full amount of your rental is due 1 month (30 days) prior to event date or your date will be relinquished. If doing a “short notice” (less than 30 days) rental, then payment plus security deposit is due in full upon booking.
- There will be a $25.00 charge for any check returned for non-sufficient funds.
- The renter agrees to abide by and enforce all Rules and Regulations governing the Iron River Community Center property inside and outside of the Center.
- Renters agree to follow all federal, state, and local laws and ordinances relative to event activities and shall provide all necessary permits and/or licenses at renter’s expense. Any permits and/or licenses will be prominently displayed at the event.
- The proposed activities or use is not reasonably anticipated to entice violence, crime or disorderly conduct and will not entail unusual, extraordinary, burdensome expense or police operation by the Town of Iron River.
- The Town of Iron River liability protection applies to Iron River facilities and employees The renter must supply their own liability coverage and AGREES TO HOLD HARMLESS AND INDEMIFY THE TOWN OF IRON RIVER AND ITS EMPLOYEES from all liability, loss, damages, injuries, costs, or expenses arising out of the actions of renters and or attendees during the rental period.
- Clean-up: The renter is responsible for clearing all decorations, food and garbage from the building at the conclusion of event. The dumpster is located across the parking lot near the SE corner of the Fire Hall. Please do not use the VFW dumpster. Tables, chairs and floor are to be cleared and cleaned of debris and spills of liquid or food. Cleaning supplies provided. Dried food/liquids are more difficult to clean, and any additional cost of cleaning will be deducted from your security deposit.
- If kitchen is used: Dishes, utensils, etc. are to be washed, dried and returned to original storage place. No items are to be stored in the refrigerator or cabinets after the rental period. Kitchen counters and prep table are to be cleaned and clear of all items.
- NO admission fees or ticket sales may be collected on the premises without permission from the Town of Iron River Board of Supervisors. They meet 2nd Thursday of month at 6:00 PM. To have your request considered, you must be on the Agenda. Call David Ciembronowicz, Board Chairperson, at 715-272-4324 to request being on the Agenda at least 10 days prior to meeting date.
- Decorations and/or signs must not use nails, tape, glue or any other materials that will cause damage to the facility. Dropped ceiling hooks must be used for any ceiling decorations.
- The set-up of tables and chairs will be done for you if you supply instructions and/or drawings for your event at least 2 weeks prior. Or you may request the number of tables and chairs needed to be available for you to design and do the set-up. Use the “Contact Us” e-mail address to submit your instructions.
- Cancellations less than 30 days will incur a $15 fee that will be deducted from your Security Deposit refund. Cancellations more than 30 days will incur a $5.00 fee. No shows will lose Security Deposit.
- The Iron River Community Center does not allow alcoholic beverages to be brought into the Center by the renter. The Iron River Area Foundation is the sole licensed concessionaire to provide this service. You will be contacted to discuss what beverages you want and the pricing for the bartenders and service. Violation of this policy will result in losing your security deposit and possible barring of future use of the Community Center.
