9. Discuss/Act Request Town approval from Jason Bramstedt, 11XXX S. Long Lake Rd.
Shoreland Grading for new driveway. Town Planning Commission recommended approval.
10. Discuss/Act: Bayfield County Land & Water Conservation Dept. request for Iron River to
participate in “Adopt-a-Dumpster” program for deer carcass. Request for $150 contribution
for dumpster.
11. Discuss/Act: Fire Dept. request for purchase of new Fire Tender for delivery 2026. Request
approval to seek loan for $660,000. Downpayment required in 2025 is approximately
$142,000
12. Discuss/Act: Northlakes Clinic Request for Town of Iron River to pay bill for repair of
lateral sewer pipe. Bill presented to township for $39,825. Supervisor review and
decision.
13. Discuss/Act: ARPA (American Rescue Plan) Funds commitment review. Must
commit/contract by Dec. 31,2024 and spent by July 2026.
14. Discuss/Act: Projects to be considered for ARPA funding contract/commitment:
A) Fire/EMS/Hwy. Building Interior insulation options:
1) Remove current insulation, mitigate as needed (PuroClean) $13,160.00 and then
spray foam insulation throughout building ceiling and partial side-walls $72,000
(Spray Foam Insulation LLC)

     2) Spray foam insulation over existing insulation (ceiling and partial side-walls) $72,000
(Spray Foam Insulation LLC)
B) Community Center Roof repair/restore: Options of entire roof or partial roof range
$31,000 to $59,000
C) Community center sidewalk repair and replace wood chip area with concrete on E. side
of building concrete repair: AbeRay $12,250.00
D) Ice Rink liner to reduce water loss and improve ice capability: $3700.00
(removable/reuseable)
E) Speed zone flashing light for E. end of Iron River $5000 to $7500
F) Rice Lake Glass for Community Center Door Repair- Ordered $10,800

15.Discuss/Act: Review and approve Highway order for VFW parking lot alley to be vacated.
16. Discuss/Act: Review and approve Highway Orders for Peterson properties (alley vacate
resolution).
17. Discuss/Act: People to People Coalition (Bayfield County) request to use IR Community
center for weekly “Coffee and Conversation” inviting community to help reduce isolation,
loneliness and improve interpersonal relationships. Request Town Board approval and support.
18. Update: Bayfield County Zoning Dept. meet and greet to discuss upcoming zoning ordinance
re-write. Iron River Community Center Monday Nov. 25 th ,1-2pm
19. Update: indiGO, organization focused on addressing social isolation, loneliness and
accessibility by working with communities in Bayfield County. Meeting Nov. 22, 2024 at
Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center 11am-1pm (all are invited)
20. Discuss/Act: Moon Lake Park Campground fee structure for 2025 to remain the same as
2024 or increase.
21. Update: Police Dept. Search for new officer
22. Update: Part time help needed for Highway Dept/Recycle Center – anyone interested contact
Town Clerk office.
23. Update: Sipsis request to vacate un-platted road (N Shore Dr) – Resolution in process.
24. Update: NWRPC, Community Block Grant/Loan resident meetings at IR CC Nov. 22 nd 1-
8pm
25. Discuss/Act: Iron River Area Foundation request for purchase of movie screen to be used for
Community events. Request shared cost, 50% of $1800.00
26. Update: Community Thanksgiving Dinner, Nov. 28 th IRCC 11-1pm
