4. Approve the Minutes, September 12, 2024 Regular Town Board Meeting
5. Review and Approve the Financial Report
6. Heads of Department (Fire, EMS, Police, Library, Highway/Streets/Parks)
7. Citizens Comments (Time limited to 2 minutes per person, 15 minutes in total
for all citizens comments )
8. Discuss/Act on recommended approval for Mathy Construction for a
conditional use permit to renew and continue the existing nonmetallic mine
9. Discuss/Act: Consider Amendment to Town Ordinance 19-15 Closing Hours
and/or Section 19-40 Penalties, addition of penalties for remaining open beyond
specified time-frame.
10. Discuss/Act: Review of Bayfield County Board proposal for full-time EMS
(basic) personnel scattered throughout the county; Iron River Town Board
response.
11. Discuss/Act: Town of Iron River Ordinances and Resolution Section 9-1,
Amending the Official ordinance #9-1 Regulation of Firearms and Explosives;
Proposal to review and Amend Firearms ordinance.
12. Discuss/Act: Review Proposal from Rice Lake Glass to repair and/or replace
doors of Community Center using ARPA funds.
13. Discuss/Act: Resolutions passed to vacate alley’s in Iron River, update to board
and request to ask Clark & Clark to complete the Highway Orders required for
VFW and Peterson properties.

14. Discuss/Act: Resolution for Halloween Trick or Treat on Thursday Oct. 31 st
from 4:30pm until 7pm. Town of Iron River departments involvement and
plans
15. Discuss/Act: Response to townships who are concerned about Bayfield County
Zoning Dept. and consideration of response/letter of interest to join group of
townships who have written to County Administrator or send letter directly to
County Administrator of township concerns.
16. Update: Town of Iron River Recycle Center, new compactor installation Oct.
17 th 2024
17. Update: Moon Lake Park Campground closed for the season on October 15,
2024
18. Update: Police Dept. search for new officer
19. Discuss/Act:    Consider quote for new ambulance for EMS department with
delivery in 2026
20. Discuss/Act:     Review Northlake Clinic bill and request for Town of Iron
River to pay for work done to repair sewage pipe that connects to town sanitary
district system.
