8. Discuss/Act: Presentation and discussion with Peter, Nelson Survey and Desi
Sipsis, referencing platted town road boarding property he owns on North
Shore Drive.
9. Discuss/Act: Room Tax for Iron River, increase from 3% to 5% to take effect
July 1, 2024.
10. Discuss/Act: Consider amendment to Town of Iron River ordinance 16-8 to
restrict dogs and animals from a town park during an event that is posted
prohibiting such animals from being present.
11. Discuss/Act: Bayfield County Planning and Zoning Committee proposed
amendment to “Containers being placed/usage” Title 13,Sec.13-1-36 and Title
13, Sec. 13-1-4(a)(57m), 13-1-43(d)(1), 13-1-62(a). Response from Town of
Iron River to County Committee regarding their ordinance due by April 15,
2024.
12. Discuss/Act: ARPA Funds remaining; Town board must identify use for
remaining funds by end of 2024 and use funds by end of 2026. Request
citizen feedback, set up suggestion box at town office.

13. Discuss/Act: Bayfield County has provided the Town of Iron River EMS
$20,000 for recruitment/retention. Create in EMS budget a separate line item
for this money.
14. Discuss/Act: Bayfield County Highway Commissioner has lifted restrictions on
County roads/trunks effective 12 noon, April 11, 2024. Town of Iron River
continues to restrict over weight/limit vehicles on gravel/dirt/sand roads unless
approved by Town Highway and Street department supervisor.
15. Discuss/Act: Request from Lions Club for town board approval of Special Use
Permit to place a container on their property at 8650 Topper Rd.
16. Discuss/Act: Resolution of Town Board proposing to exceed Levy Limit via
Town Meeting
17. Update: Town of Iron River Dam Repair Request for Proposal
18. Update: Annual Electors meeting, Tuesday April 16, 2024 6:00pm
