Declaration of a State of Emergency 

Town of Iron River

WHEREAS, a disaster, a Winter Storm and Snow Emergency commencing on March 16, 2023 has struck the Town of Iron River in Bayfield County, Wisconsin; and 

WHEREAS, because of such emergency conditions, the Town of Iron River is unable to meet with promptness; and 

THEREFORE, pursuant to sections 323.11 and 323.14 (4) (b) of the Wisconsin Statutes it is necessary and expedient for the health, safety, welfare and good order to proclaim that emergency conditions exist.
