REGULAR TOWN BOARD MEETING

- Chairman Richard Forsythe called the Regular Town Board Meeting to order at 6 P.M. Present were Supervisor Rich Nemitz, Cassie Fleming, John Rautio, Steve Probst, and Clerk Treasurer Helen G Hyde , she also testified the meeting was properly posted.
- Roll call of Town Board. Richard Forsythe- Chairman, Steve Probst- Supervisor, Rich Nemitz- Supervisor, Cassie Fleming- Supervisor – John Rautio- Supervisor
- A motion by Steve Probst, seconded by John Rautio to approve the Agenda. Motion Carried.
- A motion by Steve probst, seconded by Rich Nemitz to approve the Minutes of the Regular Town Meeting August 14, 2025, and the Special Town Board Meeting August 27, 2025. Motion Carried.
- A motion by Steve Probst, seconded by Cassie Fleming to approve the Financial Report. Motion Carried.
- Heads of Departments present. Fire- John Darwin, EMS- Adam Olson, Andy Jatzo- Highway, John Sleeman – Recycling Center ,Jacqueline Pooler – Library
- Citizens Comments – Peg Lavin, Keith Tanula, Kattie Lucca
- Ad Hock Committee updates- None
- A motion by Rich Nemitz, seconded by John Rautio to approve the recommended request from Kenneth & Bonnie Colby for a Special Use Permit, after the fact application for an RV placement, 4 months + on 68855 Fire Lake Road. Planning Commission has approved this request as well. The owner must also meet the septic requirements from Bayfield County Zoning Department as well. Motion carried.
- A motion by Rich Nemitz, seconded by Steve Probst to move the ARPA monies from 2024 to the 2025 Budget. Motion carried.
- Update on the baseball field turf project. Steve Probst gave an update on the fields, volunteers were planning on starting the project next week, and Northwestern School also funded some money towards the project.
- A motion by Rich Nemitz, seconded by Cassie Fleming to approve the process to go forward with the Vibrant Grant for the Library to fix up the Carriage House Building. Motion carried.
- A motion by Steve probst, seconded by John Rautio to adjourn at 6:45 P.M. Motion carried
